What Does this uterine Ultrasound Result Mean?
Hi! I had an ultrasound test and result states that my bulky uterus size is 50mm(AP Diameter) with faint gestational sac size of 6.5mm. Myometrical echo is homogenous while other features aren’t visible yet. Please can u help explain this in a better way and how many weeks old my foetus is? Meanwhile, I had my last period between 12th & 15th May. Thank you

Hello
It is not possible to estimate gestational age from single value of G-sac measurement.
It need three measurement(AP,TR,CC)for calculation.
Only information we can derive that G-sac is small in size and it is faintly visualized.
You may need repeat ultrasound after two weeks,so that further information can be derived.
Uterus is bulky in size and it is due to gravid uterus.This is normal.
